Connect YouTube

Use your own YouTube Data API key to search music and verify the 10,000-view minimum. The key stays on the server, scoped to your library.

How to get a key
  1. Open Google Cloud Console ↗ and select or create a project.
  2. Enable YouTube Data API v3.
  3. In Credentials, create an API key. Restrict it to YouTube Data API v3.
  4. This app calls the API from its server; a website-referrer restriction will not work here. Paste the key above.

Search uses your project’s quota. Offbeat reuses verified candidate batches to reduce requests.

A channel is not automatically treated as an artist. Unmatched entries only prevent repeats; they do not invent a taste profile.
